Editing Signal names in ViVA

Hi,

Is there any way to edit the signal name properties (such as font, size, color bold etc ) in the Virtuoso Visualization and Analysis (ViVA) graph window. I can see the option to edit the signal name text, but not other properties. Please suggest.

Regards,

Vijay

    Hi Vijay,

In IC617 ISR9 & onwards, you can edit the trace legend font (style & size) through the GUI. In ViVA menu, select Graph -> Properties or press Shift+Q to open the 'Graph Properties' form. Go to 'Graph Options' tab and press the Helvetica button (default value) next to 'Legend Font' field to open the form to control the font, font size and style.

For earlier releases than IC617 ISR9, you can use the following variables to control the font size, style, etc as shown n the example below.

    In .cdsenv:

    viva.traceLegend font string "Default,18,-1,5,55,0,0,0,0,0"

    In .cdsinit:

    envSetVal("viva.traceLegend" "font" 'string "Default,18,-1,5,55,0,0,0,0,0")
For more details on how to set the font values in the above variables, search for 'viva.traceLegend font' or 'Font string' in Virtuoso Visualzation and Analysis XL Guide documentation.
    Regards,
    Dimitra
