Filter Layout pins from LVS

Hi,

The LVS extract some devices with 3 pins, while in the corresponding schematic device has 2 pins.

I need to extract the third pin in the layout in order to include a customized model.

Is it possible to filter the additional pin extracted by the LVS in order to have LVS clean?

Thanks,

Pietro

Please read Guidelines for the Custom IC Design Forum - you have not said which LVS tool you're using (I don't even know if it's a Cadence tool or that from someone else; even with Cadence there are several), nor which version you're using.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Pietro,

Virtuoso Layout XL is not a LVS (layout versus schematic) tool, it's a layout tool. So that doesn't help, unfortunately...

You might be using Diva, Dracula, Assura, PVS, Calibre, Hercules, etc etc - this is the important information. Also some indication of what the terminal is on the extraction side and what it's connected to would be useful.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
