how to run skill skill script from csh environment? I find the skill command from $install/tools/dfII/bin/skill, but skill command (for example schPlot) can not be executed in the skill shell.

    Hi qkoyote,

Have you added $install/tools/dfII/bin/skill to your SKILL path in your .cdsinit file?

    Kind regards,

    Nicolas

How is that going to help? First of all, the "skill" executable doesn't read the .cdsinit file. Secondly, adding the path to a binary to the SKILL path makes no sense; the SKILL path is a set of directories containing SKILL code. Finally, the "skill" executable only knows about the core SKILL language, and not any of the application specific APIs (such as the schematic functions).

You should use "virtuoso -nograph -restore code.il" instead (or omit the -nograph if you want graphics, or maybe use -nographE if you want a text prompt but still allow graphical windows to be opened by code).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
