Is there any way to add a new empty strip on ViVa?

Is there any way to add a new empty strip on ViVa? I would like to add a new one not split strip. Thanks.

Hi Huan,

I don't think there is a way to add a new empty strip in ViVA. In order to create new (nonempty) strips, apart from splitting the strip you can move or copy selected traces to new strip - use the corresponding buttons in Strip Toolbar. You can also do Graph->Plot to New Strip which causes each appended signal to plot in a separate strip. With this way, you can plot the signal from the Results tab in ADE or from the Results Browser assistant in ViVA - having the plotting mode set to 'Append' - and the signal is plotted to a new strip.

Thanks, Dimitra. I plot from Direct Plot --> Main Form and I would like to plot the in a new empty strip of the same window. If I choose Append then it wil be in the same strip with previous signals.

envSetVal("viva.rectGraph" "stripChartOn" 'string "true")

Will do what you want (you want append mode too...)
