spectre simulator options in spice language

I have been able to set errpreset two ways:

1) command line +errpreset=conservative

2) spectre tran statement: tran tran stop=20n errpreset=conservative

Can this be specified in spice format .options ?

Not sure why you'd want to do this. Can you explain why?

    You can do it with:

    simulator lang=spectre
    tran tran stop=20n errpreset=conservative
    simulator lang=spice

    or:

    .tran 0.1n 20n errpreset=conservative

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Sorry for delay, I will try the .tran line, thank you.

We are constantly trading simulation runtime vs accuracy, across multiple simulators like spectre (aps, xps, various speed modes) and other vendor simulators.  We need spice format to enable comparison with other vendor simulators.  Not sure how other simulators will tolerate errpreset=conservative on .tran line.
