How to not plot/suppress the AC response plot when performing an AC simulation?

Emiel

I'm using ADE L.

I have my plot windows organized to my preferences to see the simulation results. I put the "Plot after simulation" option to Refresh so that the window sizes and so on don't get messed up after a new simulation run.

However when the AC simulation is included in the analyses, there will be the AC response that gets plotted, messing up my plot windows. Despite that in the ADE outputs there is no AC response to plot.

How can I stop the AC response form getting plotted?

Or how can I automatically remove the graph with the AC response after a simulation run?

    Hi Emiel,

Do you have any output that is signal and you want to get it plotted? That might be the reason why the the AC response is plotted as the tool will plot the signal for all enabled analyses that can plot the response.

So if you run both tran and ac then the signal is plotted for both TRAN and AC response.

    Regards,

    Dimitra

    Hi Dimitra,

In my output there was a net name (without specifying an analyses) and since two analyses where available for that net, both got plotted.

I now added transient to that specific output expression and the AC response is not plotted any more, as wanted.

    Thank you.
