Exporting data from OP Region Spec to "Outputs setup"

Good afternoon,

I need to check the OP of the transistors in a schematic, under ADE-XL. To accomplish that I've used "OP Region Spec".

I entered the parameters I wanted the expressions to have and applied to my transistors.Till here everything works fine.

My question is: is it possible to export all the expressions generated to the "Outputs Setup" tab on ADE-XL, so that my results tab in ADE-XL will show pass/fail with colours.

One more question: how can I a check for "region=2" for all transistors ? The spec field only allows me to choose ">" or "<" not equal.

Best regards,

Pedro

    Hi Pedro,

The whole point of Op Region checks is that you only have a single spec on the ADE XL output which checks all of the operating regions. It's not intended that you have an output line for each and every device. You'll be able to see if there were any violations, and then you can do Right Mouse->Op Region Violations to see the details and then highlight the devices on the  schematic, and so on.

To check for region=2, add this as the expression:   if(region==2 1 0) and then make the spec > 0. The expression will result in a value 1 if the region is exactly 2, and 0 otherwise.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

I am having a similar problem as Pedro73 because I ran Monte-Carlo and with RMB OP Region Violations I can only see violations per a single iteration. If I have 200 iterations, how can I know which device failed OP Region and what was the violation?

Another question, how does the tool come up with a single number for OP Region specification from many expressions for many transistors? Is this an average? How is it calculated?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
