Reduce the spacing between metals while placing stack auto via.

Hi,

While placing Auto via  from M4(H) to M6(H) and there are some M5(V) routing on them it will add via where M5 is not there and will keep spacing between M5s those are routing and M5 in via.

It is keeping 0.55 where it can keep less space like even 0.1.

The tool is keeping more space than required. Where can I change the space so that I will get more vias.

Thanks,

Ganesh Doddipatla.

    Hi Ganesh,

Please upload some pictures so we can better understand what you are describing - a picture is worth a thousand words, after all ;-)

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

I can't take images of layout due to security purposes.

So I did my level best in making ppt.(which i am very bad at)

    Please try to understand.

and BTW If the width is more then the DRC is 0.55 but for that width the minimum DRC is 0.1. Please consider it  if it is useful.

    Thanks,

    Ganesh Doddipatla.

    Hi Ganesh,

Can you convert the PowerPoint to PDF? PowerPoint is telling me that there's a problem with the file and I'm a bit wary of repairing it given that I don't know if the file is safe or not.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Both this PDF and the PowerPoint file are corrupted. They both have this at the beginning:

    <## NASCA DRM FILE - VER1.00 ##>

A bit of Google searching pointed me to this - it looks as if something in your Firewall is modifying the file when uploaded: https://pydio.com/forum/f/topic/some-pdf-files-uploaded-corrupted/

    Regards,

    Andrew.
