DC op point from an S-parameter Analysis

Is there a way to get the DC solution by running an sparameter analysis alone?  I am using APS for this simulation.  Running a DC operating point along with the sparameter simulation makes it take longer and the spar sim calculates its own operating point to measure the sparameters so it would be great if I could use it's operating point rather than simulating it twice.

    Hi Curtis,

You could just set prevoppoint=yes on the sp analysis. However, if you have the dc first, then it shouldn't need to re-create the operating point anyway - it says (in my case):

Operating points will not be recomputed: the circuit and conditions were not changed since previous analysis.

If you set prevoppoint=yes on the sp analysis, it doesn't given this message.

I did wonder about just running sp alone and then just adding an info analysis to save the operating point data, but this doesn't appear to work - I think you have to run an explicit dc analysis to be able to save the operating point to disk for annotation purposes.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
