setting a group of dynamic parameters every 1ms

hi Andrew,

thanks for your quick reply to my question regarding "setting a group of dynamic parameters every 1ms". i still got some confusions:

1. my actual use case is to change a group of register bit settings every 1ms so that my ADC can sample and store the results for processing

2. my cadence version is "ic617_isr11".the attachment is the tran options for "dynamic parameters". can you please tell me how i can set up multiple parameters?

thanks a lot,

fancy

    Hi Fancy,

I think this would be better achieved using the Digital Vector File (covered in an appendix of the Spectre User Guide) rather than using dynamic parameters in spectre. That way you can control the transition of digital signals rather than have them instantaneously change which could lead to convergence challenges. Unfortunately I don't think there's a mechanism to describe the vector and have it repeat either other than expanding the vector file to include the information about the sequence.

The paramset UI change isn't there in the version you're using. It's there in IC617 ISR16 but not ISR14 (I didn't have ISR15 to hand) - I think it was ISR16 that it was introduced.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
