cds_srr() mex file exception

Hi,

I am using the matlab cds_srr() function to characterize the devices for my process. I sometimes get the following error that causes Matlab to crash.

Unexpected Standard exception from MEX file.
What() is:std::bad_alloc
..

Error in CdsSRRManager/read (line 24)
            [varargout{1:nargout}] = cds_innersrr('read', this.objectHandle, varargin{:});

Error in cds_srr (line 44)
    sig = CdsSRRManager.getInstance().read(dirname, p.Results.dataset, ...

Error in techsweep_spectre (line 64)
            struct_p = cds_srr(c.outfile, c.sweep, params_p{1});

Your MATLAB session has timed out.  All license keys have been returned.
Info, MEX-file cds_innersrr is being unloaded

Can someome please provide me with some assistance as to why this error occurs?

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Adithya

    Hi Adithya,

    I've not found any reports of a crash like this - and there's really very little info above to understand what might be causing it.

    So the best thing to do would be to contact customer support with info on how to reproduce the error, together with the version of MATLAB and SPECTRE that is in use. I'd also suggest trying with the latest versions (at least SPECTRE17.1 or 18.1, and MATLAB R2018a or R2018b.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
