Schematic returns to most upper level when click Main Form or Transient Signal

I do transient simulation. I want to plot signals of inner level from Main Form or Transient Signal. However, when I click Main Form or Transient Signal the schematic always returns to the most upper level. So I have to press Shift + E again many times to go to the inner level and select signals to plot.
So is there a better way to do that?
Or any way to keep the level at current level  not returning to the most upper level when I click Main Form or Transient Signal so I can plot them right away without pressing Shift + E many times.

Which version are you using (i.e. what does Help->About show or the getVersion(t) function if you type it in the CIW)? This has been improved a lot in recent versions, although not sure it's completely solved even now... if I recall, sometimes now it does this pop to the top the first time, but thereafter it's OK.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

That's pretty old. It came out about 6 years ago. We've had two major releases since then (IC617 and IC618) - and in fact you're using the base release (there have been a lot of hotfixes to the software in the meantime too).

Can you not use something more current? Even if you're at a university, all university programs should have access to something more recent.

    Regards,

    Andrew

Yeah, I am using university program and it is quite cumbersome because they run it on a server and nothing I can do about it.
