save and restart in ams simulator

Dear Andrew,

I used the save and restart options in the ams simulator. I have set the snapshot and save times in the first simulation, in this simulation I set the stop time to 1.5ms and the supply voltage 'VDD' equal to 1.8V  in the tran analyses. Then I run the second simulation with restart from option, but in this simulation  I changed the stop time to 1.7ms and the supply voltage 'VDD' to 2V. After the second simulation ,I ploted the waveform of supply volltage 'VDD' , the waveform from 0 to 1.5ms is diplayed and the value of the supply voltage also equals 1.8V.  Why isn't the waveform from 0 to 1.7ms diplayed and the supply voltage equal to 2V? (The output format is sst2)

Thanks!

Best Regard,

nnlt.

Hi, I trying to also use save and restart options. I use two snapshot points. The irun log says that snapshots are written to psf.tran file. But I don't find the snapshots in the "Restart from " cycle form.

Did you come across an such problem?

    Thanks

    Bijoy

Any luck on this? I have the same issue. I recently switched to xrun with IC 6.18 and Xcelium 19.03. The same issue persists. I see the saved snapshots but the "Restart from" drop-down menu is blank.

    Thanks,

    Praveen
