ADEXL does not release its license once the multi-corner run completes.
Is there a way to get ADEXL to generate the netlists and runSimulation files for all corners at once but not start the actual runs. Then one can run the simulation using command-line spectre.
Not sure why you'd expect ADE to release its license when the simulations have completed. It's an interactive tool, and you still have it open. There is no support in ADE XL for generating all the netlists up front and then running the simulations from the command line. Even if you could, you wouldn't be able to view the results afterwards, which is rather one of the points of ADE XL.
If you migrate to ADE Assembler, then you could always script the simulation run:
maeOpenSetup("myLib" "myCell" "maestro")maeRunSimulation()maeCloseSession()
You can then load this and it will run the simulation non-graphically and release the license when finished. You could then open the view (you'd not have Assembler open whilst you're running the sims) and view the results for the history you created.
