netlist error for a particular resistor model

Hello,

I am unable to find the root cause for the following error . I have created a new work space, I tired to copy the model files which has this type .scs model, it didnt resolve the issue. Is there some pdk settings I need to modify to identify this. the schematic simulates, if I delete the resistor, and have other transistors or even different metal type resistor but receives netlist error when I used this particular poly hires . Following is the error message any ideas are appreciated.

Netlist Error: Could not find netlist procedure:pdkSpectreResistor instance "R0" in cell-view

Thanks.

    Hi Kadam,

The "pdkSpectreResistor" in my experience is a netlisting procedure for the Ploy resistors provided by TSMC , the "rppoploy" res and derivatives. Foundry resistors come with special netlisting resistors to manage the bulk terminal among other things. Therefore, you need to load the SKILL code that loads the procedure. Most foundries have the CDF/Callback related SKILL codes loaded through the "libInit.il" file in the Library. So browse to the Unix Path of the Resistor's library and lookup the file, then read through it to locate where the SKILL codes are loaded from. The libInit.il file is very likely human-readable, however underlying procedure are very likely to be encrypted or encapsulated in a context file, depends on PDKs ...

Hope this hekps you investigate your issue

    Riad.
