How to change calculator fonts size

datnguyen

Hi everyone,

I don't know if it's just me or does anyone have the same problem with calculator fonts size after updating to IC6.1.7-64b.500.13?

After the new update, my calculator text size becomes really small and it's very hard to read and edit. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks,

Dat

The fonts should be the same on the calculator as any other form. Can you show a screenshot of (side by side) the calculator and the Options->Fonts (in the CIW) form? What happens if you hit the "Defaults" button and then OK on the Options->Fonts form?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your reply.

Attached picture is the screenshot that you requested, all the settings are currently the default setting.

The texts in the editor area are quite small compared with others, is there any way to increase the size of these texts?

    Regards,

    Dat

    Hi Dat,

I now know which bit you're talking about - thanks for the picture (a picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes!). I checked and this was an issue which was fixed in IC617 ISR14 (IC6.1.7-64b.500.14 - the subversion after the version you're using). In ISR13, the font size of the calculator buffer cannot be controlled, but in ISR14 and later, it matches the label font setting.

Note you can increase that everywhere by using:

    hiSetFont("label" ?size 13)

but don't go too mad because some of the older forms will end up with overlapping text (and also, this won't fix your problem in ISR13 - I checked that too). To restore to the default size, hit the Defaults button on the Options->Font form. It may be that just switching to ISR14 is enough because the other label fonts in the calculator look OK - it's just the buffer that's small.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
