How to set DC voltage parameter of "vdc" (analogLib) from the voltage generated from another instance?

How to set DC voltage parameter of "vdc" (analogLib) from the voltage generated from another instance.

For example, I have a VCVS in a schematic, which gives output X, then I want to set a DC voltage source with the same voltage X.

Thanks and Regards,

Meraj

You can't. Why would you do this? Isn't that just what a vcvs does?

    Andrew.

I have two circuits one finds the desired operating voltage, and other does noise analysis based on the operating point I get from the first circuit

For the noise analysis I have to use dc source to find the input referred noise, I could not find the input referred noise if I directly use the output from the VCVS. This is why I need to do this.

In essence, the input-referred noise is computed using the small-signal transfer function from a source to the output. It computes the output referred noise, and then divides it by the gain from the designated source to the output.

So you could put a 0-Volt DC source (vdc or vsource) in series with the vcvs output, and use that as the source for the input referred noise. The DC level itself will then be set, and you have the DC source to act as the "small signal" injection point.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
