Import .mod file

Hi all,

I am using IC6.1.8 version and trying to import the spice model of an external component; in the netlist there are only capacitors, inductors and resistors. I already did It in the past, but It seems that this time I cannot make things work. What I do is file->import->spice, and in the input section I specify:

Netlist file: name of my file .mod

Netlist language: SPICE

Reference lib: analogLib (I only have passive components)

In the output section I just specify the out library, and in the device map I specify:

Device to map: capacitor, mapped to: cap

Device to map: inductor, mapped to: ind

Device to map: resistor, mapped to: res

When I run It, it says that "capacitor" symbol was not found in analogLib, while I expect it to look for "cap" instead. Moreover, no matter how I change the device mapping section, even if I remove "capacitor" at all, the Spice In log keeps giving the same error.

Any idea?

Nicola

P.S. my .mod looks like

.SUBCKT comp_name port1 porte

C01 port1 N01 value1

R01 port1 N01 value2

and so on...
