Can anyone tell me how to extract the netlist in from the layout in cadence?

You would typically use an LVS tool (e.g. Assura or PVS, depending on the rule decks you have available) and then Quantus QRC to extract the parasitics (again, assuming you have the rules for this). You would need to ensure you have the software installed and configured to use these.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

I don't mean to be rude, but you really are going to have to ask your questions more clearly. For a start, please read the Forum Guidelines. Whilst I understand that English is probably not your first language, but that doesn't mean that it's OK to ask questions where you've given so little information that there's no hope of being able to answer. If there is an error, state what the error message is. State how you are trying to open the file. State what software versions you're using. Can you run the simulation? If not, what is the error message you get? These things ought to be fairly obvious - put yourself in the position of the person trying to answer the question - if they can't answer the question without being able to read your mind, then there's going to be a problem!

    Kindest Regards,

    Andrew.
