ADE Explorer switch view list

Hi,

I have 3 cells as:

Cell_A with views schematic and symbol
Cell_B with views veriloga and symbol
Cell_C with views schematic, veriloga and symbol.

In the top cell I use the 3 cells and with the config file I select the view veriloga for the Cell_C

The issue is that the netlist doesn't add the Cell_C verilog view.

In the config file I have:
View List: spectre cmos_sch cmos.sch schematic veriloga ahdl pspice dspf
Stop List: spectre

The warning message shown is:

WARNING (OSSHNL-117): Ignoring switch view 'veriloga' of cell 'Cell_C' in library 'test_library', as it does not contain
any instance. To netlist this cell, add this switch view to the stop list or to
ignore any specific instance set the property 'nlAction' to value "ignore" on
this cell view.

Any idea how can I solve it?
I know that in ADE L, in the environment is possible to update the switch view list, but I can not find it in the ADE XL

Best regards,

Eduard

    Hi Eduard,

My guess is that the veriloga view has been modified outside of Virtuoso and the corresponding netlist.oa database file is not quite correct (or the CDF is not quite correct) for that cell.

I would suggest opening up the veriloga view from the library manager, adding a blank line, and hitting the "build a database of..." icon (or File->Extract menu). Then try netlisting again (do a Simulation->Netlist->Recreate).

If that doesn't work, please let me know which subversion of Virtuoso you're using (Help->About in any window - please provide the entire number)

    Hello Andrew,

    Thanks for your quick response.
The strange thing is that another engineer located in another country has managed to use my veriloga cell without issues.

I did what you suggested but nothing changed

    Our version is: IC6.1.7-64b.500.22

    Best regards,
    Eduard

    Eduard,

I would suggest you contact customer support. I'm not sure what the issue is here from the description you've provided (even with the version number, nothing jumps out).

    Andrew.
