Change Lib Manager Background

Hello,

I am trying to change the library manager background colour to black ( since dark mode is popular these days ).

I tried changing the .Xdefaults file and re-starting cadence.. it did not work..

!Change lib manager background
cdsLibManager*Background: black
cdsLibManager*textColor: white
cdsLibManager*XmDialogShell*Foreground: white

I also tried putting it on .cdsenv and re-started cadence and that did not work either..

;Change lib manager background
;cdsLibManager*Background string "black"
;cdsLibManager*textColor string "white"
;cdsLibManager*XmDialogShell*Foreground string "white"

OR

;cdsLibManager*Background: black
;cdsLibManager*textColor: white
;cdsLibManager*XmDialogShell*Foreground: white

I removed the comments there and tried it and that also did not seem to work.

Anyone has any ideas. Hopefully this should have been straightforward, but not able to make it work.

Thanks,

V

These Xdefaults settings are no longer documented (they were in IC5141) because the theme that is used across Virtuoso defines the colour scheme used, and so they don't work. In IC5141 they still work (note, I did need to do "xrdb -merge .Xdefaults" to get the file to be re-read in my current X windows session):

As far as I know, there's no way to get a "dark" mode in Virtuoso in IC61X. You'd need to contact customer support to request an enhancement (I didn't find one so far)

    Andrew.
