Not sure if there was an actual error beforehand in that message - it's always hard when people post screenshots of portions of error messages (which I hate, because they're not searchable).

I would suggest contacting customer support. If the file has got truncated because of some filesystem corruption, there's not really anything we can do about that - it's rare that we see such issues.

thank you very much for the reply Andrew, i am using oaScan_p047, the error is on coming after including the -repiar

the long mapWindow cannot determine the byte-swap direction . The value 0x00000000 is an unexpected value.

I did find one case (particularly due to if an OA parasitics database was created, maybe with EAD) where this happened and it was fixed earlier this year. You're using an IC617/ICADV123 version of oaScan; I suggest using oaScan from the latest IC618/ICADVM181 release to see if that fixes it?

    If not, contact support.

thank you very much for the reply Andrew. For getting the oaScan from the latest IC618/ICADVM181  what will i have to do ? Will i have to buy IC618? I think oascan is an unlicensed utility.

A bit worried as we are near the end of design cycle when this data issue is coming up.

If you have a maintenance contract (or fixed-term licenses), then you don't need to "buy" the next release. You simply need to download the new release from http://downloads.cadence.com and then run oaScan from that release. Since no license is used by oaScan, it shouldn't impact your design cycle.

If you're unsure though, you could contact customer support. That way they may be able to just provide you with the latest oaScan on its own...

    Andrew.
