Display iPar()/expression evaluated value

Hi Experts,

I am using Virtuoso version - ICADVM 18.1 - 500.1

I want to use iPar("w")*5 as a value for my other parameter. I want evaluated value to be displayed in Property Editor and on schematic canvas.

Could you please help how to achieve that?

Thanks,

Norayr

    Hi Norayr,

    The Edit Properties form will not show evaluated values - it shows the properties as entered. The canvas however can display this - the View->Annotations->Setup can be used to control the display of any CDF parameter, and can be set to show the fully-evaluated expression. You do this by clicking on the instance (maybe changing the instance name to "*"on the form to do it for all instances of that type), and in the column heading use the right mouse button menu to add the "Display Type" column. You can then change the display type for the parameter to Full instead of Literal.

    Andrew.
