How to forbiden auto-starting a new line in netlisting

Hello, when i creat netlist, the script could start a new line automatically, which is annoying when i compare multiple netlist. Is there any way to forbidden such start a new line action? I can accept the row quite long.

Thanks for your help!

    Which netlister? Which tool? Which version?

    Hi Andrew,

    Sorry for the unclear questioning. Let me re-phrase. In fact, I create the netlist when it finishes the simulation, from the results page of assembler -> right-click the result and choose netlist. Then I save it into .txt file.

    My Cadence is IC6.1.8-64b.500.9

    I find many rows do the job like starting a new line by itself as

    M51 (SQIB CIB net182 inh_ground_gndi) nei w=290.0n l=180.0n \
    as=1.056e-13 ad=1.056e-13 ps=1.4u pd=1.4u nrs=1.22727 nrd=1.22727 \
    m=(1)*(1) par1=((1)*(1))

    It seems the width of each row is limit by some environment variable. I expect the row content as

    M51 (SQIB CIB net182 inh_ground_gndi) nei w=290.0n l=180.0n as=1.056e-13 ad=1.056e-13 ps=1.4u pd=1.4u nrs=1.22727 nrd=1.22727 m=(1)*(1) par1=((1)*(1))

    Is that possible to set such property, e.g., the width of the netlist txt?

    Thanks for your help!

    Set hnlSoftLineLength=4000 (for example).

    Andrew.
