What is best resource to learn Ocean scripting

Hi

I am new to Ocean scripting. Could you help to tell me where I could find the resource (documentation with testcases, training, fast adoption kit)  ?

Thanks,

ManChak

    Dear ManChak,

The basic ocean reference manual has the commands you need to get started with both simulating and post-processing simulation results. It is at:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/techpubDocViewerPage?path=oceanref/oceanrefICADVM18.1/oceanrefTOC.html

There is an extension to ocean (oceanxl) which can be used in Assembler that adds some features. Its manual is at:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/techpubDocViewerPage?path=ocnxl/ocnxlICADVM18.1/ocnxlTOC.html

As far as examples are concerned, I am not familiar with any Rapid Adoption Kit ("RAK") that focuses only on ocean. Experts who monitor this Forum may have better information on this than I do.  However, example scripts can be generated through the GUI of Assembler and/or Explorer as shown in Figure 1. The resulting scripts can provide examples for you to study. I am not sure what your end goal is using ocean. If you need more detailed examples or information, that information might be helpful in providing some guidance.

Does this help at all ManChak?
