Pnoise can not plot Jc(k)

Hi,

I have done the PSS and Pnoise simulation of a RC oscillator. I want to use Jc(k) function to show the cycle jitter

But cadence shows me the error, saying unable to plot expression ...

I expect your support. My cadence version is IC618.

    Dear sjwprc,

Jee is a scalar quantity and therefore cannot be plotted. ViVA is designed to plot Cadence waveforms. You may add it as an output to view as a scalar. This is documented with a few more details at URL:

    I hope this helps!

Hi Shawn, thanks for your fast feedback. I think this new feature become effective for RMS Phase jitter, jee, jc, jcc. Right?

Did you happen to view the companion related topic at the bottom of the link I sent at the different URL:

It notes the conditions under which you may plot Jc and Jcc. As before, if they are scalars, then you may add them to the outputs, but they will not be plotted.
