EMX integrated inside Virtuoso

Hi All,

Can you please also let me know which version of Virtuoso has EMX integrated inside it ?

I think EMX was acquired by Cadence a few months back and is integrated now without having to separately launch EMX (please correct me if I am wrong ).

EMX is still released separately (and I don't believe there are any current plans to change that). You can download the INTEGRAND10 release from http://downloads.cadence.com and then use from within Virtuoso. This is much in the same way that Spectre, Quantus, PVS, Xcelium are all released separately from Virtuoso - it means you can mix and match versions of the environment and simulators and verification tools as you need.

    Thanks for the reply .

So do you mean just as Axiem option appears by default under the license of ICADV18.1,  that will not be true to EMX even as a V-RF EM solver option ?

I'm not really able to talk about future product plans here, sorry. EMX has not yet been integrated into Virtuoso RF as a solver choice; you should contact your account team or customer support to find out more about the plans.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
