Calibre view generation encountered a fatal error

Hi,

Has anyone experienced this type of error? I cannot generate the calibre view. The calibre log file states that my library can't be found although the parasitic extraction is performed.

    Hello Yasir,

I had this error before. I believe this is Calibre PEX. Have you deleted cds.log file? When I encountered this error while running parasitic extraction, it gave me this exact error. I deleted a cds.log file by mistake and I had to recover the deleted cds.log file from the thrash can to make it work.

First of all (as the logs make pretty clear), Calibre is a tool from Mentor Graphics, not from Cadence - so it's a little strange asking a question about it on a Cadence forum.

I also can't see what the presence or otherwise of a CDS.log file would have on this. I can imagine that the cds.lib file might have an influence - note that the log file says that it converted the cds.lib file into a lib.defs file (in a temporary location; this may well have been cleaned up by the time the program finishes) - if it's visible you might want to check if the "LNA" library is referenced. Either way you're probably going to need to speak to Mentor support about what is going wrong...

    Andrew.
