use sweep and montecarlo at the same time

Hellow all

I sweep pss to get PA's 1 dB compression point. And I am trying to put this sweep into montecarlo sweep (different from sweep) to see how the compression point is influenced by process variation. But it seems that the sweep does not work well cause the amplitude of the output wave does not change. It seems that the input amplitude, which I set to sweep, stays the same for every sweep.

Thanks

    Hi Wen,

Which version of the IC tools are you using (what does Help->About show - please give the full sub-version number)? Also, which simulator version are you using (from the spectre log file). I don't recall ever seeing this (and I find it rather surprising) but it would help in terms of trying to reproduce it.

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew

The version of IC is IC6.1.7-64b.500.2, the version of spectre is 18.1.0.077, and the expression is [ compressionVRI((v("/net027" ?result "pss_fd") - 0.0) '1 ?rport resultParam("PORT1:r" ?result "pss_fd") ?gcomp 1) ]. The expression is enclosed by square brackets. ( I asked the same topic twice, hhh~ you could answer on any of it I can check the reply in my email)

    Thanks

    Wen
