Schematic Toolbars

When opening a design in tab in maestro (IC6.1.8), the schematic opens without the create, edit, select, view toolbars.  So typically the first thing I do is right click on the toolbar and turn these on.

If I recall correctly, earlier versions of the tool had these toolbars enabled by default.

Is there a way (e.g. .cdsinit) to have these toolbars enabled by default when I open a design in tab?

  • The simplest way would be to open the schematic in the tab, add the toolbars and place them as you like, and then hit the "save" icon next to the "Basic" workspace name to save a local "Basic" workspace for ADE Assembler-Schematic.

    If you didn't want to have a local "Basic" workspace, you could create a new workspace arranged how you want with your own name and then use Window->Workspaces->Set Default to make that the default workspace for ADE Assembler-Schematic.
