Cadence virtuoso CDB to OA conversion ( ERROR*loadcontext )

hi

I transfer new pdk from CDB to OA format using the conversion toolbox. The conversion is completed without problem but
when i create a library > attach it to new pdk this error appear in icw:
*ERROR*loadcontext:
"/root/desktop/TSMC130_pdk/tsmc13rf/../skill/64bit/pdkutil.cxt"
in skill folder from newpdk there isn't any 64bit folder but there is pdkutil.cxt in skill folder
my cadance is 617-64bit and my GNU/Linux x86_64

after that when i insert object for example transistor in schematic this error is appear in icw

*Error* arrayref: can't handle nil["tsmc13rf"]
*WARNING* (SCH-1156): CDF parameter function has problem.
how can i solve it?
thanks

Do these files exist in the original (CDB) library? If so, manually copy them across into the same place in the new (OA) library. The conversion process won't touch them, so my guess is that it simply has not copied them across.

If there's no 64bit folder in the original library, you'll have a problem since from IC617 onwards we only have 64-bit executables and these need 64-bit context files I'm pretty certain you ought to be able to get the right PDK from TSMC if you ask though.

    Andrew.

    Thank you kindly

pdkutil.cxt exist in TSMC130_PDK/skill/pdkUtils.cxt but there isn't any folder (64bit) in skill folder

i can use this pdk in cadence IC5141 and everything works fine

As shown in the figure above ic5141 can execute pdkUtils.cxt after load

    Loading PDK Param Table '/root/Desktop/59407_1603907309/130/TSMC/TSMC130_PDK/tsmc13rf/../skill/pdkParamTable_lg.ile'
    Loading spectrei.cxt
    Loading hspiceD.cxt
    Loading hspicei.cxt

and there isn't any error when i insert object in schematic

Is this ic617 capable of running in 32 bits? if yes how can i do this

is it possible my procedure is wrong to convert cdb to oa ?

Andrew Beckett: Do these files exist in the original (CDB) library? If so, manually copy them across into the same place in the new (OA)library

at  first I generate  OA library after that I delete CBD library in PDK and replace OA library instead of it

IC5141 only had a few executables that supported 64-bit (e.g. "layout") and the complete set of tools were not available in 64-bit mode (so icfb could not run in 64-bit mode). IC617 is only supported in 64-bit mode and cannot be run in 32-bit (IC616 does however have the ability to run both 32-bit and 64-bit mode; I think 32-bit was still the default then but you could always run "virtuoso -32" to force it).

If the 64-bit context file/directory does not exist in the CDB library to copy across to your OA library, then there's nothing you can do - other than speak to TSMC. I expect a newer version (maybe already on OA) is available.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    grateful
So to do the same pdk It is necessary that i install cadence 6.16 to rub dfii in 32 bit.And capability of 6.16
more than 6.17 beacuse 6.17 cant rub in 32 bit.

Don't entirely understand what you mean by "capability of 6.16 more than 6.17". It's clearly not more capable to use an older version, and it's pretty reasonable to drop 32-bit support after many years of 64-bit hardware.

The right thing to do is to get the correct PDK from TSMC.
