Hi,

I can't find the transient option of actime_pair. How can i set such option?

It tends to be quite helpful if you specify the version (IC version and Spectre version) that you're using.

In ADE, from IC6.1.7 ISR20 onwards (6.1.7.500.20) if you specify actimes/acnames on the tran analysis, it will automatically netlist actime_pair=no in order to preserve the old ADE/Spectre behaviour (which means that the list of analyses in acnames is run for each time point in actimes). If using an older IC version, you can go to the "Miscellaneous" tab of the transient options form and enter actime_pair=no in the Additional Params field. If you want the newer spectre behaviour of having a list of times, and a one-for-one list of analysis names (and only have one analysis name at each time point), then you can add actime_pair=yes (e.g. in versions beyond IC617 ISR20); then actime_pair will be netlisted twice, but the one entered manually in the additional params field will win because it is last on the tran analysis line.

    Hope that helps.

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. The cds version is IC6.1.8-64b.500.2.

The way you proposed works. Thanks a lot!

Btw, why not add a check box to define such parameter, which seems better.

There was a technical reason as to why R&D decided not to provide this as a user choice. However, I don't think the reasoning was correct, so I've actually asked for it to be reconsidered - I filed (at the same time as my reply earlier) CCR 2416846 for this.
