DC Sweep multiple variables at same time

I'd like to run a dc sweep for two variables at the same time. For example, vdc_Var1 would start from 3V to 6V and vdc_Var2 would start from 6V to 3V.

I found a similar post here:Sweeping 2 variables (at a time) in Parametric analysis

But I didn't see the "Group as Parametric Set" option when right click on the global variables.

My ADE XL version: 6.1.5.500.9

Is there any other way to do it?

That was pretty much about the release this was implemented (from the change request I think it was 6.1.5.500.8, but it might have been under the control of an environment variable). I can't check because this is a pretty old release (9 years) and finding that release was tricky. I initially tried with 6.1.5.500.12 (which I do have) and it's definitely there - you have to select the multiple variables and then right mouse button - then select this menu:

I managed to track down the older version you're using (why are you using a 9 year old version of the tools?), and the menu isn't there. However, you can make it appear by using:

    envSetVal("adexl.gui" "enableParametricSets" 'boolean t)

in the CIW (or .cdsinit) before launching ADE XL for the first time in a session. If you've already started ADE XL, you'll have to quit virtuoso and re-start.

Note that I have no guarantees that this will work - it may have been under an environment variable to enable because it wasn't entirely ready (I can't remember - it was a long time ago!). The right thing to do is to use a more recent (and ideally supported) version of the tools such as IC6.1.8.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
