preserve instance in SpectreX?

Hi,

I am using pkg model with small RLGC values. The waveform looks incorrect, guess it's due to circuit reduction.

"preserve_inst" option is ignored in SpectreX.

Is there any method to preserve instance in SpectreX?

    Dear Ponien Lin,

Yes. Please access the High Performance Simulation GUI dialog box and check the Advanced Options radio button an enter the option as shown in Figure 1.

I’d also suggest that you contact customer support. Our goal is to make the Spectre X technology as out of the box as possible, and turning off the instance pruning/combination is potentially throwing away an important performance gain (turning it on selectively for particular components is not so bad, but preserving all instances is something that you don’t want to do all the time; it shouldn’t be necessary)
