hello,

are there any training programs being organized by cadence to learn the tools or are there online resources like tutorials/examples to learn from?

    Dear KhanAmir,

There are both sessions conducted by Cadence as well as numerous Rapid Adoption Kits (RAK) converging a wide range of subjects. Cadence also provides videos and more structured learning sessions. I would start by enrolling/registering  in On-line support to access  the many On-line support documents. This will also search for videos, RAKs, and written tutorials.

    Dear KhanAmir,

I also wanted to add that Cadence also provides an App, available in the Apple Store, that may be used for various specific types of documents. A snapshot of its home page is shown below.

I don’t think you can expect Shawn to register you - he doesn’t work for Cadence! Even I can’t do that (and I do work for Cadence) - you’ll need to register yourself (if you’re a student, you may need to speak to your Cadence University Program coordinator and identify how to get a COS-lite account).

I have installed the support app but it is not accepting my credentials which I am using here. I even reset my password but still no outcome. I tried to register but as soon as I entered my email it prompted that this is already registered. Dilemma!

Yes, it’s called “Cadence Support” (most of the other “Cadence” apps are either unrelated to Cadence Design Systems (many are related to cycling as it’s a common cycling term as well as a musical term) or are apps for employees.

I would suggest that if you can’t sort it out through the app, go to http://support.cadence.com in a web browser, and try the route there if you’ve forgotten your password. It may end up needing you to contact support via email (note you will get an automated reply saying that we no longer accept support requests that way, but you should get a response anyway since it’s an account-related question).
