ViVa is plotting old simulation result instead of the current simulation results

Dear All,

I modified the AMS schematic and resimulated it. But ViVa is plotting the old schematic results. I have enabled "clean snapshot and pak files".

If I modify the Simulation Location name, it now plots the modified one. Any specific reason why it is happening ?

How to fix this ?

Kind Regards,

    I'm not sure I've seen this - probably need more detail such as:

    1. IC sub-version being used
    2. Which ADE? (L, XL, Explorer, Assembler)?
    3. How exactly are you invoking ViVA - which method of plotting the data are you using? It sounds as if you might be using the calculator (is that where you're modifying the "Simulation Location" name? is the calculator still open from the previous run?)

    Dear Andrew,

    1. IC sub-version being used  --> sub-version  IC6.1.8-64b.500.15
    2. Which ADE? (L, XL, Explorer, Assembler)?  --> L
    3. How exactly are you invoking ViVA - which method of plotting the data are you using? It sounds as if you might be using the calculator (is that where you're modifying the "Simulation Location" name? is the calculator still open from the previous run?) --> Results--> Direct Plot--> Main Form and then selecting the net to be plotted No I am not using the calculator I am modifying the simulation location as below-->

        Is there any folder permission needed for the simulation directory ? If so what user permission is needed ?

    Kind Regards,

    I have not seen this behaviour. I suggest you contact customer support.

    Obviously you need write (and read) permission to the Project Directory specified, but that's about it. This should just work...

    Note that you should be moving from using ADE L to ADE Explorer (or Assembler) as ADE L is in "sunset" mode and we've stopped selling it - as a result, there have been no enhancements for some time and all major new functionality is going into ADE Explorer/Assembler.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi RFstuff,

    Even I am facing the same issue. Did you find any solution to this problem? I am using ADE Explorer.
