Built-in aging model in TSMC PDK

Hallo everyone,

I am really new to aging analyze using virtuoso. I'm currently using tsmc 40nm lib to simulate, and here is my settings for tmi mode, I just want to learn how aging model works.

And after simulation, I get three results, fresh/stress/100yr

But after I plot the results, there is no difference. Here is the plotted result of 100yr. What I expected is too see the result of age "100", but the result are all age "0".

I don't know how the aging simulation using TMI works, can anyone provide tutorial or does anyone have experience? I'm really new to virtuoso, thanks for your help!

Please contact customer support. First of all, you may need to check whether you actually have ageing models for this process (for 40nm they may not be included by default), and secondly you sometimes have to enable a particular model section (certainly that's the case with some of the FinFET nodes). Given that it's very hard to give a suggestion in public without potentially breaking an NDA, customer support is the best option.

    Regards,

    Andrew

Hello, thanks for reply! The models I'm currently using are models for corner simulation and it seems like there is no description for aging in those models. I will try to contact the customer support, thanks again.

You should also contact TSMC to see if they can provide aging models for this specific technology variant.

    Andrew.
