plotting loop gain in ADE Assembler

Hello,After defining stb analisis as shown bellow.it ran fine.

I want to plot the loop gain ,and phase margin in the ADE explorer menu.

a new signal was created in the output setup then i did right click and chose to "send to calculator" and i got the follwoing calculator window as shown bellow.

i have pressed the data circle and i showd me two option for std ,i chose type std (the top one) as shown bellow.but it doesnt change anything in the calculator.

i did it befor in ADEL as shown in the last photo but here i cant see hw to do it.

What to do next in order to see the loop gain and phase margin plots?

I know that the final calculator expression is getdata("phaseMargin" ?result "stb_margin") or phaseDegUnwrapped(getdata("loopGain" ?result "stb"))

but i dont know how to get it, i dont which button procedure in need to do in the calcultor to build it.

Thanks.

Solved : I used the result browser in the schematics.

But i still have a problem of how to add the calculator expression to the output setup.

When i press the "Send buffer expression to the ADE outputs" its not adding them to the output setup.

    Where did i go wrong?

Update:i have found a way by doing manual copy paste of the expression ,but the send buffer expression does nothing.

The send buffer expression ought to work - however, it may not behave if you have a blank output added?

Also, you should be able to use the "add to outputs" on the direct plot form too. There should be no need to do this via the calculator.

    Andrew.

Hello Andrew,i can imagine your words perfectly if we were in ADEL.

When in calculator i did send buffer expression then it appeared in the buttom right corner of ADEL.

same thing with the direct plot.

but here i am with ADE assembler i looked everywhere regarding the direct plot.where can i find this menu?

    Thanks.

Go over one of the output cells in the Results tab in Assembler (e.g. the "Nominal" column, or one of the corners) even if there are no outputs currently, and the right mouse button allows you to access the direct plot for that specific sweep/corner point. When you use the "add to outputs" then, it will add to the outputs.

Or you could click the down arrow next to the test name to switch into Explorer, run the simulation from there, and then you'll have the Results->Direct Plot menu as you do in ADE L, and can do it that way.
