Continuing a sim from a previous instant

Hi,

I have multiple sims running in ADE Assembler (for ex 10). However, when I reduce the no of parallel sims that can be run at a particular time (to say 6), 4 sims are instantly killed and then they start from the beginning. Is it possible to restart the killed sims to reuse the state and continue from where it left off?

No, this is not supported (it would be fairly complex to achieve - not all simulations are restartable, and even if they are, it would need to force saving of a snapshot, flush the data, and then stitch the results afterwards).

In fact with the newer LSCS flow, running simulations are not stopped - as individual simulations complete, it will then not start new simulations until there are a maximum of 6 running.

    Andrew.
