Accessing parametric set sweep results with referencing only the corresponding design point rather than each individual parameter value

Hello everyone!

I am performing a parametric set sweep with let's say 10 parameters and I have 5 design points. I want to access the result of an output expression in let's say the 3rd design point. To do so, only option I could find is to use "leafValue" function and specify all those 10 parameter values that correspond to the 3rd design point. Then, when I need to do some calculation in the output setup using "leafValue", the expression becomes huge even though the calculation is pretty simple.

So, my question is, is there any method to access the results with just specifying the corresponding design point rather than specifying each individual parameter value?

I am using ICADVM18.1-64b.500.13

    Naci,

You wouldn't normally have an output expression using leafValue in the outputs - normal outputs are evaluated per sweep point, and so the leafValue won't work at simulation time because the results aren't there yet.

I think this would be best handled by customer support, so we can get a much clearer idea of what you are trying to do. I think you can probably just use the value function: value(someExprssion 'var1 N) as that should slice the results for just that variable - that might be enough.

    Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your answer. I forgot to mention that I do calculations with the type set to sweep, so that they are calculated once all the simulations are done. I will contact the support for the issue as you suggested.
