Edit schematic with python

I'm doing an optimization project. First, I create a simple schematic containing several resistors and capacitors with virtuoso. Then, I need to change the resistance or capacity of instances and launch sp simulation automaticly with Python. But now I don't even know how to access the sch.oa file. Is there any Python package? Thank you very much!

There's no Python support within Virtuoso. Whilst there are OpenAccess bindings available elsewhere for Python, these are not supported within Virtuoso and it's not something I'd recommend (OA doesn't define the semantics for schematics that needs to be followed).

The right way to do this is to use SKILL rather than Python. There's a rich set of functions within Virtuoso that allow you to do exactly what you're asking for.
