Cadence Abstract DLNOLK : Failed to get exclusive lock

Hi All,

I've been using Abstract for sometime to generate cell abstract views. However recently ran into this issue when I tried to specify the logical views to the cells in a library (TSPC_R_ABS) using a verilog file :

INFO (ABS-10516): Library TSPC_R_ABS ImportVerilogFiles /home/wijesundararanasacr/Anu_Cad/DET_FF_TT_1P2V_25C.v
ncvlog(64): 15.20-s002: (c) Copyright 1995-2016 Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
ncvlog: *F,DLNOLK: Failed to get a exclusive lock on library 'TSPC_R_ABS' (-1:Input/output error).
*Error* (ABS-19008): /eda/cadence/2016-17/RHELx86/IC_6.1.7.704/tools/inca/bin/64bit/ncvlog -use5x -view verilog -work TSPC_R_ABS -cdslib .abstract/verilog/cds.lib -log .abstract/verilog/nc.log -messages /home/wijesundararanasacr/Anu_Cad/DET_FF_TT_1P2V_25C.v 2>&1 has failed. For more information, refer to the abstract.log file in the run directory.

*Error* (ABS-16007): Import verilog could not process verilog file /home/------/DET_FF_TT_1P2V_25C.v. The log file can be found at .abstract/verilog/nc.log.

I tried following steps and still the issue remains !

1. Closed all the opened library data from other servers and any zombie processes.

2. Removed all the lock files and checked the permission to the verilog and lib files.

3. The NFS lock status looks like below :

/sbin/chkconfig --list nfslock
nfslock 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off

4.  ncpack -unlock TSPC_R_ABS/ gives -> ncpack: *E,NOTLIB: Library TSPC_R_ABS/ is not defined in the cds.lib file. (although this is defined in cds.lib)

How can I resolve this ?

Thanks in advance

Please contact customer support over this. I think we'll need to investigate  (note, the ncpack command would not include the trailing "/" in the library name - perhaps that's the issue).
