Variable net name in Virtuoso

Is there any way to set the net name in virtuoso as a variable and control it through ADE?

  • The answer is probably "no", but it may depend on what you're trying to do. What are you expecting to change with this variable? Please provide some more detail as to what you are trying to parameterise and how you expect it to behave - then I may be able to see if there's a way to do what you want or not. Your description is quite high level - and there's certainly no generic way of parameterising net names in Virtuoso or ADE, but in certain areas it might be possible (I don't want to do a big exploration to find out what does and doesn't work if I could bypass that by knowing precisely what you're after).
