Setting for setting the analog stimuli

Hi All,

is there a way to set the value of multiple bits inside the Stimuli setup window in one go.

for example in the below snapshot i wish to set all the series<1> to series<7> to DC voltage=1 together ?

I tried using a couple of options like selecting all the bits together using the CTRL & SHIFT button but was not able to select them all together.

thanks

That's the old graphical stimulus form, which is in ADE L and older ADE Explorer/Assembler versions (it's still in ADE L, since ADE L is having no further enhancements and is end-of-sale). You can't do multiple selection in that version.

In the new stimulus form, you can define templates, and then assign these to multiple elements in one go, including all members of a bus (here I created a template called dc_1 which was a 1V dc source, and then via the right mouse button menu in the bottom part of the form, assigned to all bits of the bus):

    Here's the result:

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Thanks Andrew.

I will try to check this with the Assembler instead of ADE-XL.

Is there a way I can load my current ADE-XL view settings into Assembler maestro view when creating the Assembler maestro view ?

Yes, in the library manager over the ADE XL view you can use right mouse button menu and pick open with, and choose to open with Assembler. It will then offer to create a maestro view migrated from the ADE XL setup. Or you can do the same from File-Open. Or if you create an empty maestro view you can use the import menu to import from ADE XL.
