Controlling the displayed number of floating decimals in the DC operating point

Javier Beloso

Hello to everybody,

I have a simple doubt. When I annotate the DC operating point in the schematic, the number of decimals displayed is very high (e.g. Ids = 100.1234567891234 nA). How could I modify the decimals displayed to have only one decimal (e.g. Ids = 100.1 nA?

Thanks in advice,

Javier

It's actually based on the number of significant digits, not decimal places. Something in your environment has increased that to (it seems 16) digits, which is just above the resolution of double precision floating point numbers. You could reduce it by typing (in the CIW):

    aelPushSignifDigits(4)

    for example.
