Hi Senior engineers,

Is it possible to start sim at midnight using the GUI?

GUI = ADE-L, assembler, explore...

Simulation = DC, tran, AC...

best regards,

Ichiro

    This would be possible using a distributed job submission system. With ADE L it was provided for on the job submission form (if you have a distributed job system set up, and have picked Setup->Simulator/DIr/Host to be in distributed mode). With Explorer/Assembler, I believe you have to use the appropriate option for whatever underlying queuing system you're using (e.g. LSF, SGE etc) to specify the time for the job to start; even then you'd need to be careful to start an larger start time because ADE Explorer/Assembler would think that something had gone wrong with the submission and would try again if it hadn't started within the usual Start Timeout in the job policy (which is 300 seconds by default).

    I don't see this being requested very often in modern compute environments, so I don't have a great deal of experience of people wanting to do this.

    Andrew.
