Assembler outputs: change type from implicit to signal

Hi,

in the Maestro-Assembler outputs I do have an output signal of type "implicit" (signal, expression, implicit, fault ...) which is no longer used in any expression.

I need to change its type to "signal" to be able to plot/view it.

This is impossible as it tells me in the CIW:   "INFO (ADE-1202): The implicit signal '/I1/MNls/D' cannot be deleted because it is used in other expressions."

How can I get rid of this implicit output signal - I cannot delete it and it is not used in any of the expressions ?

    Okay, after I restarted Maestro, it was recognized that the signal is no more used in an expression and was removed.

    The above was not correct - It just did not shows the implicit signals.

    Not sure which sub-version you're using, but I'd start by updating to the most recent. There were a number of issues with implicit signals getting out of date.

    You can also try running:

    maeUpdateImplicitSignals(axlGetWindowSession())

    or

    maeUpdateImplicitSignals(axlGetWindowSession() ?test "testName")

    This function is available from IC618/ICADVM181 ISR6 onwards.

    If that doesn't fix it (and you're using a current hotfix, such as IC6.1.8.500.18 - ISR18) then please contact customers support.

    Hi Andrew,

    I will try those methods.

    Just for completion - my workaround was to save the outputs in a *.cvs file and to remove the line with the implicit signal - then loaded the *.csv again back into the outputs.
