Simulating with a Calibre Extracted Netlist with ADE Explorer

Hi,

Need to simulate using an extracted RC netlist generated with Calibre. In the past I've used the Hierarchy Editor to generate a config view, point to the extracted "calibre" view, and simulate with ADE -L. How can I accomplish this with ADE Explorer?

Thank you,

Jim

If I select the "calibre" view in the Hierarchy Editor, recompute the hierarchy to use the calibre view, and select  the ADE Explorer button to open the testbench, it still simulates without the extracted parasitics. I see the parasitics when using the old method and ADE -L.

The most likely situation is that you don't have the design set to be the config view in ADE Explorer. This is the same flow as it is with ADE L though - does Setup->Design list the config view as the design?

    Andrew.

Ahh, ok. Pointed to the config view and it works now. New Explorer user. Thanks!
