Environment variable questions

Hi Andrew,

I am using virtuoso IC618-64b.500.10. And i would like to set two environment variable as

1. Schmatic/View/Net highlighting

2. LayoutXL/Tools/Express Pcell Manager/ Enable express pcells

    For the first, this is controlled via a cdsenv setting:

    schematic schDynamicNetHilightOn boolean t

    You can also find this by searching in the entry box at the top of any help menu: Net Highlighting. For me, it was the top entry "Dynamic Highlighting" and then it's covered on that page - and explains the env var.

    For the second, use the help menu and search in the box at the top: express pcells. This will take you to the right help covering the UNIX environment variable needed to enable this.

    So as is often the case, this is in the documentation. You just need to use it!
