How much storage does a single simulation use?

Holz

Hello everyone,

I need to run a huge simulation with nearly 230k points, is it possible to check & test how much storage does a single simulation ṕoint need? I am going to run a larger simulation, so I want to know whether it will exceed our storage quota or not

Thanks a lot for help!

Regards,

Holz

Er, wouldn't you just run a small number of simulations, check the disk usage within the Interactive dir for that point and then scale it up appropriately? Then you can optimise what you save, turn off the saving of the various info analyses you don't need (on the "Save All" form). If you are taking measurements from the  results (which result in scalar value), you can also get ADE to not keep the waveform data in order to save space - so there's plenty of opportunities to minimise what gets saved.
